And now, as promised, here's a look at the new observation tower up there on Mt. Mitchel.
The last time The Fuzz was up here, this was under construction, and they didn't want him up there.This time he had better luck.
They've got it all fixed up now with even a paved "trail" up to the top.
Pretty fancy.

All in all, The Fuzz had a pretty good trip and didn't even get rained on.

neat. just got done reading "a walk in the woods" - a great and funny book about the AT, these views remind me of the book a little. the blue ridge is so pretty.
