It's about time for another progress report on one of The Fuzz's projects.
The Fuzz is sure that by now most of his loyal readers have figured out the (not so mysterious) Mystery Pix.
It seems that when the tin was laid down on the roof of this shed, the ridge piece was left for a more opportune time. The problem with this, other than a nasty leak, was that the scaffolding required for access to the roof, prevented any work being done on the wall below.
Our Fuzz had not been looking forward to this part of the job. The tin is slick, and the ground below is hard. But things had come to the point were there was no excuse left (other than cowardice) for not finishing the job.
The Ever Cautious Fuzz tied a rope to himself, while His Sweetie wrapped the other end around a tree. The plan was that if The Fuzz began to slide off of the roof, he would make every effort to fall on the side opposite said rope. Then the rope would prevent a painful fall to the ground, and the resulting injuries. We are pleased to report that the operation was a success, and The Fuzz is looking forward to the next phase of the project, finishing the walls. After that, he will be able to install some doors. Once he has walls and doors, he should be able to move some of the tools out here to our Home in the Woods. That would be nice.
