More signs of spring here.
This Poplar Tree stands outside the bedroom window. In the summer it shades this side of the house. This time of year, the sun can be a little intense, and even burn our poor pale bodies, since there is no shade. But that is beginning to change. These are the tiny new leaves. It's always nice to see them. By the fall they will be kinda burnt out, and beat up looking.
But for now they have that tender spring color that is so welcome after the grey and brown of winter.
Here are some of the first Apple Blossoms. If there is no late freeze, we may get some apples this year. Last year we had a late freeze that wiped us out. But this year may be better, I hope so.
Well, The Fuzz split up most of the Fire Wood still in the yard. Maybe we won't need much more, but there will still be some cold nights I'm sure. Probably some cold, rainy days too. We've had right smart of rain lately. That hole in the yard is full of water. This is a good thing, it's nice to have water.
While he was busy out there, the Girls were busy in here working on a little project.
And so, we are managing to stay busy.

Do we get to see the final results?
Glad to hear your well is full.
If things work out, I may have a place totally surrounded by water. The place will actually be floating in water. I will have millions of gallons of water all around me.
But not a drop to drink.
Water water everywhere, and all the boards did shrink.
Water water everywhere, and nary a drop to drink.
Just don't molest those birds.
