Night Shot

The Fuzz has been attempting to make a picture of the Moon for a while.

He has not been satisfied with the results.

Take this one for example.

In a way it's not so bad.

But this was taken over the pier in the afternoon!

So the other night, when the moon was full, he made another attempt.

His Sweetie had wanted to have a look from the beach where there wouldn't be so much light pollution from the town.  So The Fuzz went along and brought his camera.

And again, things just didn't work out.

But he did get this nice pix of the pier in the moonlight.

Thinkin'
('bout the Moon)


I know I'm not a young man
-and that time is passing by
And soon I'll go to heaven
-or maybe not and fry
But there's one thing that I'm thinkin'
-and I'd really like to say
That the moon is gonna fall down
-on us all one of these days

I'm thinkin' 'bout that moon
-that God put up in the air
I'm thinkin' 'bout that moon
-and I hope it stays up there

There's nothing holds it up there
-it's really plain to see
And if it doesn't fall
-it may get stuck up in a tree
But if it doesn't fall
-I think it's really for the best
That it keeps on rising in the east
-and goes on setting in the west

-that God put up in the air
I'm thinkin' 'bout that moon
-and I hope it stays up there

Oh the moon is just a chunk of rock
-if what they say is true
Floating in the sky
-way above the blue
But if something would happen
-to that light up in the sky
It would really make me sad
-and I think I'd start to cry

I'm thinkin' 'bout that moon
-that God put up in the air
I'm thinkin' 'bout that moon
-and I hope it stays up there.
