Serious Power Tools

I've mentioned how busy we've been, cutting trees and all that. Well it came to the point where the stumps had to be removed. This was a job for some Serious Power Tools.

As you can see even with equipment like this, it wasn't easy.
Note how the rear end of this mighty machine is losing contact with the earth under the strain of trying to pull this stump. It reminds me of The Fuzz's last trip to the Tooth Dentist.
But the skillful operator succeeded with this and a number more. After he finally got one out of the ground, he would drop it several times to get some of the dirt out of the roots.

Once those stumps were out of the ground we had to put them someplace out of the way. He pushed them over in the woods where nothing is planned for right now.

And here is the place prepared for our future home.
If the weather cooperates, we hope to get it moved out here this week. Then the real work begins.
