Whilst we are concerned with issues of floors and such, The Fuzz has also been involved in his own small way. I'm not sure if it had been mentioned before, but among the various other repairs needed to bring this trailer up to our High Standards, were some concerning the floors.
In all honesty, The Fuzz has been a little hesitant to tackle this. But with His Sweetie already at work, it was time to take action. So far, she had worked around these bad spots but time was running out for The Fuzz.
He had drilled a sort of "probing" hole in one of the worst spots and measured the thickness of the plywood. It seemed to be 3/4". And so, having a couple good sized pieces of 3/4" left over from a previous project, he took a deep breath and got out the skill saw.
Once he got the hole cut, he found that the 3/4" was not, in fact 3/4", but more like 5/8". This could be a problem. But after a moment of disgust and discouragement, he checked under the trailer and found that the plywood previously used for The Piano Move was actually the right size!
And so, he cleaned up the hole and added some bits of 1x4 around the edges for support. Finally he cut a new piece to fit and screwed it all together.
Here it is ready for His Sweetie to add her own special touch.

That floor looks amazing.
I can easily see a wealthy person paying BIG BUCKS for a floor like that in their house. Even if it was only in one room.
