Back… Sorta…

It has been pointed out to The Fuzz that it has been awhile since there was a new post at Kinda Fuzzy.  It is true that life has been a bit complicated for him lately, but that is no excuse.

So here's a quick post, just to show that Our Fuzz is still living.

He wants everyone to know that he had been busy.  There's been a bit of moving furniture, gardening and travel.

And he has managed to get the boat wet a few times…

And tries to catch a few fish now and again.

And just to get something up here, we have this "Gaggle" of geese he saw up at the lake a few days ago.

The quality wasn't so great, so he tried to artisticalize it a bit.

He does hope to be back around here again before too long…

But you know how those things go…

Afternoon at the River

The Fuzz decided to take advantage of the return of warm weather to have a walk over at the Broad River Greenway.

There were a lot of turtles out enjoying the sun as well.

So he couldn't resist a few pix.

Some of those rocks got a bit crowded.

There was a bit of a thunderstorm that came up, but our Fuzz managed to stay reasonably dry - although he was briefly concerned about his camera.

Here's a few pix from a recent Photo Shoot at an abandoned incinerator.

The Fuzz finds these places strangely intriguing.

Surely this wasn't the office…

But then…

One never knows what will turn up in a place like this.

It isn't often that The Fuzz posts a Mystery Pix without an attempt to disguise things a bit… 

…But this was one.

So here it is again.

This time he attempted to give a bit more clue of what it was.

Just a Moth

The Fuzz was just hanging around the other evening when this little guy showed up.

And as often the case, he couldn't resist a shot.

And then of course, playing with it.

Maybe he just has too much time on his hands.

Winter Lake Break

With a nice break in the weather, The Fuzz thought it might be nice to get out in the boat.  So he checked to see if he could crank the motor…

And was amazed that it started on the 2nd pull!

And a hasty plan was made for the next day.

The trip up to the lake went fine, and the launch was good…

And the motor started again!

(It's a kinda old thing)

There were a lot of "seagulls" out on the lake.

You don't see them around here* in the summer…

But they do hang out this far inland in the winter.

The Fuzz did get to fish a bit, but alas…

Lost the only bite he had!

But regardless, it was a good day.
