Kittens

Regular Readers, (I think there's a couple of you) may remember The Wild One, Angora. [ The Wild One, December 03, 2006 ] Well she is all grown up now, but as wild as ever. It also seems that she has the loose morals of most of her sister felines, with the typical result. She also has shown poor judgment in her choice of a home, namely under the eaves of the west wing, also know as "The Condition". (This is another story) These two unfortunates, fell out and were rescued. She seemed to make no effort to do this herself, which throws some question on the quality of her maternal instinct.
They are quite young, eyes are still shut. Unfortunately the grey one didn't make it, but the orange one is still going strong.

You need to trap the mama cat and have her fixed, or this will happen again and again.

If the orange one makes it, it will be a very nice cat. Kittens raised by humans from this age are always nice. But you have to be the mama cat. The kitten will need to be fed every few hours, from a special kitten bottle. And regular milk is not the best, you should get kitten formula. A vet office might have some handy they will part off to you. Or else a large chain pet store will have it.

Good luck! And congrats on the new cat.

A 22 round would be a lot more economical than a visit to the vet.

But then you would loose a ratter.

True.

You can probably find a cat rescue outfit that will fix the wild cat for a low cost. Then no more kittens.

Hope the little orange one makes it. I'm partial to little orange fluffy things. Even when they have big teefs and claws.
