The Fuzz is at time of life when one tends to hear the Call of Nature even when sleeping blissfully away, under the "Feathers". This can be a good thing, actually, as it gives him an opportunity check on the fire, or anything else that needs checking on. Last night as he stepped out the door to go "Down the Hill", he came upon this sight.
And so he returned to the house for his Camera just so all his loyal readers could share in this wonder.
Now I realize that for all you Yankees, Canadians and Siberians, this is nothing. But for us, here in this No Snow Zone, it's a bit of a thrill. Personally, it reminds me of the Old Country, which is good, just as long as it doesn't get out of hand.
And so,"They" called off school, but of course The City must go on. The Fuzz spent the day grabbing icy garbage cans, and trying to keep them from slipping down into the truck. That's kind of a pain in the butt, 'cause then someone has to climb up in there and get them out. But, for the most part, things went pretty well.
The "Snow" became freezing rain, which is ugly stuff, but it seems that there were no major problems. We still have lights and all. There is supposed to be another chance of this Friday, but, we'll believe it when we see it.
